Dawning Names Vice President and General Manager of Medical Business Unit

Will handle daily operations of the Medical Business Unit as well as overseeing strategic account development and handle partner and distributor relations.

Fairport, New York, November 18, 2002 --- Dawning Technologies announced today that John Hamm has joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of their Medical Business Unit. Mr. Hamm brings over 19 years of experience in the Healthcare market most recently with McKesson HBOC.

In his new role, Hamm will be responsible for the daily operations of the Medical Business Unit as well as overseeing strategic account development and handle partner and distributor relations. He will also be involved in the sales and marketing activities of the companies latest interface engine the JavaLin/100.

John comes to Dawning at a very exciting time. We have just released our fourth generation interface, which has generated a lot of interest among our current and prospective clients. Prior to Joining Dawning, Mr. Hamm held the position of President and CEO of Isys/Biovation in Orlando, Florida. He joined Isys in 1995 as National Accounts Manager and was promoted to VP of Sales one year later. In early 1998 John assumed the role of President/CEO and relocated the company to Orlando, Florida where he helped direct the company through the challenges of rebuilding and restructure.
