The Panorama NovaView e-BI Suite provides both an Out of the Box and Do It Yourself (DIY) options to enterprises for implementing the Panorama business intelligence solution over the Internet, intranet or extranet. Once up and running, executives, power users, analysts and knowledge workers with little or no training can start analyzing data, streamlining decision making, optimizing resources, increasing efficiency and improving the bottom line.

Enterprises that wish to develop customized vertical solutions can do so easily with the Panorama Component Kit. The components provide an API that enables developers to embed the Panorama BI solutions within existing applications or portals, as well build specialized vertical applications that address specific LOB needs. The Components Kit contains sample code detailing how to exploit the object model, embed parameters and deploy the security elements of the solution.

Found in the Panorama Component Kit is the object model documentation for both the Java and HTML clients. The documents detail the client components and directions are given on how to alter their appearance and content. Instructions are also given on how to facilitate the interaction of parameters between themselves and other html tools including text boxes and drag & drop elements. Lastly, Panoramas controlled access and security mechanism is explored, specifying how the middle-tier infrastructure and cell/member level security works. Notably, Panoramas security mechanism extends the OLAP capabilities by utilizing homogeneous connections, which reuse connections between the user and the relevant data thus resulting in greater scalability.

With the Panorama Component Kit in hand, developers can fully customize the Panorama solution for either enterprise wide or individual workstation level. The Panorama Administrator via Microsofts SharePoint server can execute a standard data-viewing platform across any enterprise or develop individualized workstation dashboards" reflecting the needs of the organization and the business groups there in.
