Sponsors Thanksgiving Feast for the Those in Need
Greensboro, NC -- For the second year in a row, Nobles and Restoration Word Ministries are sponsoring Nobles Thanksgiving for those in need. High Point Community Foundation has been instrumental in connecting Nobles and Restoration Word Ministries with other outreach ministries, making this truly a partnership between local ministries in service to those in need.
Chef Larson with the support of staff and local volunteers will prepare a special Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless from noon until 5:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day. This traditional dinner will include turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and green beans.
Last year, Restaurant J Basul Noble served 150 people. This year, the program has been extended to all Nobles locations. Quoting Jim Noble, The volunteer response last year was absolutely wonderful. I was humbled by the community participation of those who volunteered their time and contributed financially to make this community outreach such a great success. Thats when we knew that we had to extend this to all four locations."
Some people chose to come and volunteer their time; others contributed financially. Restoration Word Ministries is a 501C3 not for profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.
For those interested in volunteering their time, please contact Christi Hill, in Greensboro, at 336-333-9833.
