Solmar Villas adds Cyprus, Malta & Gozo for 2003 as demand for Luxury Villa Holidays grows

The new brochure from independent villa specialist Solmar Villas sees new destinations and properties introduced for 2003, as demand for luxurious 'homes from home' continues to grow from British holidaymakers.

British holidaymakers are increasingly upgrading their holiday accommodation to a more luxurious 'home from home, according to Solmar Villas, which has added 34 new properties and four new destinations to its 2003 brochure to help meet the demand.

A combination of low-cost flights and the growth of independently planned holidays has fuelled the shift towards more lavish accommodation, with money saved on flights now being used to upgrade to more exclusive properties in resort.

Launched this week (18th November), Solmar Villas new brochure features hand picked villas and country houses on the islands of Gozo, Malta and Cyprus, and in the resort of Nerja on the Costa del Sol, for the first time.

The popular destinations of Menorca, Majorca, Fuerteventura, Costa Blanca and Portugal also see a range of new high quality properties added for 2003, while other destinations featured in the brochure include Tuscany, Umbria, Costa Brava and Lanzarote.

A special offer for April and May departures to selected destinations sees prices lowered by up to 150 compared to 2002, while many prices have been held for 2003.

An independent, family-owned villa specialist, all Solmar Villas properties have a private swimming pool. For 2003 Solmar Villas will have local representatives in most resorts, to provide additional information or assistance.

Designed to offer complete flexibility over travel plans, Solmar Villas brochure prices are for villa rental, not per person. Flights are booked either through Solmar Villas or independently.

Car hire is also available, with rates starting from 99 for seven days Group A car rental in Gozo. In addition, Solmar Villas can arrange airport car parking at many UK airports, together with extras in resort including cots, high chairs, transfers and welcome grocery packs.

Prices for seven nights villa rental at Villa Veduta on Gozo start from 399 from 18th March 2003. A detached villa overlooking the coastline, the villa sleeps four and has a private swimming pool, barbecue, gardens and a roof top solarium. The price includes transfers from Malta airport to the property and the services of Solmar Villas local representative.
