Anywhere between forty and sixty children, between the ages of 7-18, come to the Shattuck Shelter each year, to share their art with the homeless. We return to the Shelter year after year, because the children love performing for its guests," said Michelle McCourt, Director of the Theater. They have always been an incredibly receptive, warm, and ALIVE audience, concluded McCourt.
In the end of the night, volunteers from the parish of St. Thomas Aquinas will serve delicious desserts. St. Thomas Aquinas has been with the Shattuck Shelter for seventeen years now. k
This coming spring, the young artists of the NCT will present a musical Cinderella at Walt Disney in Paris, as part of their tour of France in Europe.
