Constitution Party National Chairman Weighs In On Recent Election

Having posted a record number of National Candidates the Constitution Party continues to build momentum throughout the country. The Constitution Party announced today that the just completed election gives new evidence of its growth. We are now the third largest national political party in terms of registered voters. An increasing number of people are hearing our message and joining our effort because of the hard work and diligent efforts of our candidates, who, by placing their names on the ballot, created a forum for the promotion of the Constitution Party and the issues valued by all Americans in a positive and resourceful manner", said James N. Clymer, the partys national chairman.

Most significantly, an organization in Nevada formed by members of the Constitution Party -- the Committee for Nevada Statehood - scored one of the greatest coups in recent political history by successfully guiding to victory an amendment to that state's constitution which specifically mandates that marriage is defined as a union between one man and one woman. This amendment checked efforts that were being made by the radical homosexual lobby to try to force "civil unions" down the throats of the people of Nevada who cherish their traditional values and beliefs.
Clymer described the developments in the growth of the party as both heartening and exciting". He added that what is also exciting is gaining the support of nationally known leaders such as R.C. Sproul, Jr., who in a post-election article on his website, expressed grave doubts about the Republicans resolve to enact meaningful pro-life legislation and suggested Christians should explore the Constitution Party. The Constitution Party is making its mark on the political landscape and gaining more and more attention from a public that is weary of 'politics as usual." Clymer said.

The Constitution Party is a political party which affirms the founding principles of our God-given unalienable rights upon which these United States of America were founded: The right to Life, Liberty, Property and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Party calls for the return to Constitutional Law, claiming that America has strayed from the intent of our Founding Fathers because of political opportunism, corrupt private interest.
"Those in charge of the government have a never-ending tendency to grasp tyrannical powers and have all combined to lay waste the constitutional order that kept us a free people" said Clymer.
