KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL HONORS EIGHT STATES FOR ACHIEVING GOLD

Eight states will be awarded gold for achieving the highest level of compliance for Keep America Beautiful State Affiliates at Keep America Beautifuls 49th National Conference in Washington D.C. These awards recognize Keep America Beautiful State Affiliates who have successfully initiated the Keep America Beautiful State Affiliate Guidelines to promote the KAB mission statewide and offer program support to local affiliates.

Eight states will be awarded gold for achieving the highest level of compliance for Keep America Beautiful State Affiliates at Keep America Beautifuls 49th National Conference in Washington D.C. These awards recognize Keep America Beautiful State Affiliates who have successfully initiated the Keep America Beautiful State Affiliate Guidelines to promote the KAB mission statewide and offer program support to local affiliates.

The example set by statewide affiliates in the Keep America Beautiful network cannot be overemphasized; a strong state program leads directly to a cleaner, safer, more beautiful state," said G. Raymond Empson, President, Keep America Beautiful. By encouraging communities to participate in neighborhood cleanup and improvement projects, and educating citizens through awareness-building initiatives, these state programs have helped greatly to keep America beautiful."

Keep Louisiana Beautiful
Keep Mississippi Beautiful
Keep Nebraska Beautiful
Keep Texas Beautiful
Keep Tennessee Beautiful
New Mexico Clean & Beautiful
