WAFC Teams Finish Regular Season

Women's professional tackle football conference finishes 2002 season, prepares for playoffs.

The Women's Affiliated Football Conference (WAFC) has finished its regular season play and is getting ready for playoffs. Taking top honors as Central Pacific Division Champions are the undefeated (8-0) Sacramento Sirens, who also lead the WAFC ranked as the #1 Offense. South Pacific Division Champions, the Arizona Caliente (7-1) edged out the Hawaii Legends (6-2) by being the first team in history to beat the Legends at their home field. The Caliente lead the WAFC with the #1 Defense keeping their opponents to an average of less than 9 points a game.

The WAFC Championship game is schedule for December 7th, 2002 and will be played in Sacramento, CA. More details regarding this game will be released soon.
