Toronto, ON - November 18, 2002, The Claxton Group, today announced the release of The ContactGenie Importer version 1.2, a unique contact import utility for Microsoft Outlook 2000/2002 supporting templates, user-defined fields and automated operation.

The ContactGenie Importer (CGI) is an indispensable time-saving tool for sales and support persons who receive new contact or lead data on a regular basis from any number of sources such as suppliers, websites, lead generation services and trade shows as well as webmasters and corporate application developers who require a simple solution to a simple need that can otherwise create a major headache.

The program allows for the automatic creation of new user-defined field information as well as mapping to existing user-defined fields with data type/format validation on import. The information can be imported into any Outlook contact folder which can be pre-designated or selected at the time of import. Import jobs can also be run on a scheduled basis in an unattended silent mode via command line operation.
