Roxy is 47, quite a bit overweight, more than just a little spinney...and shes becoming obsessed with men and sex...though she never seems to get any. She has the kindest mirror on the planet. In it she still sees herself as the bodacious brunette with the same body-to-die-for, as she had twenty-five years ago.
     Life is never boring. She is surrounded by her five-year old grand-daughter, who has not stopped screeching since she was ejected from her mothers womb, a bi-polar coroner daughter who performs autopsies on her food while shes eating it and goes through horrible withdrawals when she hasnt dissected a human in more than four hours, a time-dated but loyal best friend who supports her madness, and an accountant husband who doesnt quite know how to cope. Her husband, Edward, is addicted to re-runs. Theyre a little less tiring than anything Roxy has in mind...all the time.
     Roxys new ambition is to become an exotic dancer, and true to her obsessive-compulsive nature, she persuades her family to drive across two countries over the Christmas holidays so she can try out as a Las Vegas Show Girl.
