MIDWEST CHEF ROLLS BAKERY-FRESH SCONES INTO KANSAS CITY

LAWRENCE, KANSAS - November, 2002 - Specialty food company Windowsill Foods, Inc., the brainchild of Lawrence-based pastry chef Marilyn Pollack Naron, brings all-natural Scone on the Range® frozen ready-to-bake gourmet scones to fine Kansas City-area supermarkets. The British-inspired and American-born" scones are making the trip back to Kansas City-area and Lawrence stores at the start of a national rollout for Scone on the Range® a product that promises-and delivers-an easy and deliciously rewarding baking experience at home.

Naron, a Lawrence resident with family ties in Kansas City, created the specialty as part of her former catering company and after local success, took steps to making Scone on the Range® a national retail product. San Francisco, Seattle and Portland are the next planned introductions.
