KENNY LOVE SCHEDULED FOR NATIONAL SPEAKING TOUR

"It is wonderful to see more traditional universities recognizing the validity and benefit of establishing and including music business programs within their curriculums." -- Kenny Love

NEW YORK, New York - - November 24, 2002 - - Independent record promoter and publicist, Kenny Love, will begin a national speaking tour next Spring, 2003 in the interest of an offline combined extension of his current weekly http://yahoogroups.com/group/klsqa/"> Q&A session and http://yahoogroups.com/group/klmb101/">music business class.

Although exact dates have not been confirmed, Love has been invited to make Fordham University, located in New York, his tentative first stop on the tour.

"I am glad to add, yet, another facet to my career, particularly, in the area of helping bring about more awareness to the operations and mechanics of the Music industry," says Love. "And, there could not be a better sector in which to begin than the college circuit."

Though his focus will be, primarily, on keynote addresses, Love is also hoping to include workshops at as many of his stops as possible, in the interest of presenting outlines and implementing real world hands-on methodologies that students can learn prior to graduation.

Kenny adds, "It is absolutely wonderful to see more traditional universities beginning to recognize the validity and benefit of establishing and including music business programs within the music department catalogs of their curriculums. I know for a fact that, when I was in school, there were very few, if any, schools doing this. The focus was, otherwise, on the educational aspect, and you were looked at as somewhat of a weirdo if you even made 'performance' your major. I am hoping that, with this tour, along with a new record promoter network I am hoping to have interested college students become members of, the promotion and publicity aspects of the industry can be dramatically enhanced," Love concludes.

Colleges or music organizations interested in having Kenny speak to their music students or members, can initially contact him via email at kenlove@txucom.net .
