DATELINE: BROCKTON AND PLYMOUTH, MA, ISSUED NOVEMBER 24, 2002... Pierre Merhej, Hotel Manager of the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor has recently been appointed to the position of General Manager of Memorial Hall performing arts center in Plymouth, MA.
Merhej, a veteran of the hotel and restaurant industry and the Hotel Manager for the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor (formerly known as the Sheraton Inn Plymouth), has been named the new General Manager of the Memorial Hall performing arts center in downtown Plymouth. In his new role, Merhej will oversee Memorial Halls operations, special events and star studded" scheduled performances.
My vision for Memorial Hall is that of a cultural and entertaining community hub," noted Pierre Merhej, General Manager of Memorial Hall and Hotel Manager at the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor. He continued, As General Manager, I look forward to promoting Plymouth not only as a historical landmark but as an artistic and intellectual center-with an eye toward significant growth within the town."
Merhej has served the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor for the past nine years, having first held the position of Food and Beverage Director before being promoted to Hotel Manager. Prior to joining the Radisson, Merhej was the Food and Beverage Director for Fine Hotel in Mansfield, MA as well as the serving in the Food and Beverage department for the Sheraton Hotel in Boston MA for a number of years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. A native of Beirut, Lebanon, Merhej currently resides in Brockton with his wife and two children.
Memorial Hall
After a recent $7 million renovation, Memorial Hall, located in the heart of Plymouth, has been transformed into a performing arts center with seating for 1,400. Memorial Halls operations are currently managed by the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor.
