CopyRight - A product for data migrations on Windows-NT/2000/XP

Frankfurt, Germany (November 26, 2002) -- Sys-Manage, a germany based vendor of systems management software, today announced the availability of CopyRight 1.2, a product to aid in the process of data migrations.

CopyRight allows system administrators to copy files, folders and network shares including their security information. By relying on Windows-NT/2000/XP integrated backup mechanisms it allows access, even to files usually not accessible to administrators. It is seamless integrated into the Windows Explorer and additionally contains a command line interface for batch processing.

CopyRight can be used to consolidate data on new servers, migrate data between networked systems or simply to copy data internally from one harddrive to another.

The capability to reassign permissions on the fly, makes this product a complete data migration solution. You can graphically define a mapping table, assigning each group or user account in the source environment to corresponding accounts residing in the destination environment.

CopyRight costs $59.00 for a single server license and can be ordered on-line from the company's secure website. Multiple server and enterprise licenses are also available.
