A New Year, A New Sector - WebitPR Set To Launch Into Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology
WebitPR, the online news distribution and monitoring company, is set to expand its service range in the New Year with the launch of a new database covering the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sectors.
WebitPR, the online news distribution and monitoring company, is set to expand its service range in the New Year with the launch of a new database covering the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sectors.
Since its launch in early 2001, WebitPR has been focused on the IT and Telecommunications sectors, in which the company has had great success distributing releases for some of the leading industry names, including Global Crossing, Siemens and Marconi.
"We felt that the time was right to expand our range after the success we've had in the technology sectors", said Jonathan Dolby, Managing Director of WebitPR. "Despite the current market conditions, which have affected both corporate organisations, and the PR industry, we have managed to win new clients consistently and expand the business".
The launch will come after months of research and development on the new database. Not only did websites have to be identified, but also each editor and journalist was contacted to ascertain what news they were interested in, allowing WebitPR to continue to offer a genuinely targeted distribution.
As part of the database development, WebitPR recently completed a trial for Nottingham based GBCS PR. The trial involved the distribution and monitoring of a number of news releases, relevant to each of the sectors covered by the new database.
"We have been delighted with the coverage achieved by WebitPR", said GBCS Managing Director, Richard Gee. "As part of the trial, we compared both the coverage, and the costs involved, against other leading online PR solutions - WebitPR came out on top on both counts".
The new database is available for use in January 2003, when WebitPR will be offering a free trial release to relevant corporate organisations or PR agencies.
