Aviation Automation Launches i-Ready Room Suite of Electronic Flight Bags

Arlington, Texas USA -- November 25, 2002 -- Aviation Automation, the leader in providing portable computing technology to aviation organizations announced today the new i-Ready Room suite of Electronic Flight Bags for corporate, commercial, and military use.

The i-Ready Room concept offers our customers a wide variety of computing choices when evaluating and purchasing equipment for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) application", Marc Schmidt (Director of Aviation Automation) said. The ability to match specific computing devices to specific aircraft and applications will allow our customers to utilize this new technology in the most reliable, safest and least expensive way". Today, a typical installation involves only pen tablets; Aviation Automation expands the EFB by using Detachable Cockpit Displays and other flat screens that are used in conjunction with other pen tablets and/or laptops.
