Wingstop opens in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Jim Deering, president of Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., one of the nations fastest growing franchises, announced today that the company has opened its first Baton Rouge location on Saturday, November 23.

The restaurant is located at 3034 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. in the Sherwood Pointe shopping center (between Rickochet Billiards and Louisiana Pizza Kitchen), and its hours of operation are from 4:00 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tim and Jennifer Milano are the owner/operator of the new Wingstop.

Theres been a lot of excitement building up to our opening; lots of people have dropped by or called to see when the doors would open," Tim said. Now that were open, Im really looking forward to introducing this concept to Baton Rouge -- its great food."

The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight unique wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan.
