AuthorsDen rates Kristie Leigh Maguire as Top Author

Nov. 26, 2002: Author Kristie Leigh Maguire was the featured speaker at The Authors Den Radio Show on November 16, 2002. She had been selected Top Author for the week at the AuthorsDen site. According to Matt Miller, AD site owner, winners of that award are chosen on the basis of their popularity among site visitors.

When radio show host Roger Vizi, contacted Maguire with the news that she had been selected as Top Author of the Week, Maguire stated, "I have been with Authors Den since it began. It has been a valuable tool for me. Now it appears my pages are valuable for them."

One of the show highlights was Mark Haeuser's call. He is Maguire's co-author for their romantic comedy "No Lady and Her Tramp". They discussed how two authors with such diverse styles of writing teamed up for this book.

Maguire is also the author of "Emails from the Edge (The Life of an Expatriate Wife)". She is a contributor to three anthologies: "Calliope's Mousepad: Women Writers Online", "Musings: Authors Do It Write!" and "NUW Roads Travelled". She is also a contributor to two cookbooks: "Now We're Cooking! 43 Authors in the Kitchen" and "Cooking By The Book". In addition to being a published author, Maguire is the founder of NUW Independent Authors Community and Romance Editor/Reviewer/Columnist at MyShelf.com.
