Ottawa, November 26, 2002 - Blue Steel Technology Inc (BST) has announced the Beta release of Mastiff, Behavior Override Security Software. A comprehensive Beta program for Mastiff will be carried out on Netwinder server platform. Mastiff is a behavior based security product that resides at the 'back-end' between the operating system and the disk. All access to information must conform to defined 'Rules of Behavior' prior to being fulfilled. This back-end behavior-based approach extends site security in depth to the threshold of the disk. Mastiff operates independent of all other products providing a secure barrier to an ever-increasing suite of front-end security holes and adverse product interactions.
