Russell Bedford network expands into Florida and Texas

Becher, Yeager, Nall & Co. and Helin, Donovan, Trubee & Wilkinson LLP have both joined Russell Bedford International, expanding the group's North American network by adding offices in Miami, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.

The Russell Bedford group of independent CPA firms has announced the further expansion of its network in North America by the addition of offices in Miami, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.

The new member firm in the Miami area is Becher, Yeager, Nall & Co., certified public accountants and business consultants.

Located in Coral Gables, the partnership was formed in 1997 by the merger of Becher, Herzog, Nall & Co. (established 1981) and Bernard, Yeager, Sherburne & Mishkin (established 1988).

There are now four partners: Daniel W. Nall CPA (a specialist in litigation support and tax audits); John F. Yeager CPA (financial and investment planning); Frederick B. Sherburne CPA (litigation support); and Joseph M. Brydon CPA (accounting and QuickBooks consultant).

The firm provides a broad array of services, with emphasis on small and medium business consulting and tax services, litigation support, real estate and tax consulting, as well as financial, investment and estate planning.

Becher, Yeager, Nall & Co. has a multi-lingual staff, and the firm has a growing international client-base, with existing clients in France, Venezuela, Colombia, Germany, China, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

In Texas, Russell Bedford has taken on Helin, Donovan, Trubee & Wilkinson, LLP.

This four-partner CPA firm - a member of the AICPA's SEC Practice Section - provides financial audits, tax preparation and consulting, and financial process consulting services to clients primarily in the technology, financial services and not-for-profit sectors.

The firm started some six years ago as the tax consultancy and financial planning practice of Wallace F. Helin CPA. Thomas P. Donovan CPA joined Wally Helin in early 2001 to extend the service range into financial audits. Norman Trubee CPA, a corporate tax specialist, joined the firm in 2001, and Tom Wilkinson CPA recently became a partner, bringing additional audit and consulting experience.

The firm, which has its headquarters in Austin, has formed alliances with two other Texas-based firms, giving it additional offices - in Dallas and San Antonio - to support its work across the state. The Dallas office specialises in technology, financial services and employee benefits plans.

Earlier this year, the Russell Bedford network's North American offices in Washington DC, New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Toronto, were joined by new firms in Boston and Vancouver. And the network is currently seeking to take on new firms in Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle.
