The award, sponsored in part by the Central New York Business Journal, recognizes 40 business and community leaders under the age of 40.

   Hatem received the award for her professional and civic leadership in Central New York. As Marketing Communications Director at Fagliarone Group CPAs, Hatem is responsible for planning and implementing the firm's advertising, public relations, direct mail, research, special events and other marketing-related activities. Hatem is an associate member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing. She also serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Junior Achievement of Central New York and is a member of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce's Red Carpet Committee. Hatem, a Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications graduate, resides with her husband and two children in Dewitt.
