(PRWEB) December 2, 2002 -
Absolutely Public Relations (APR), the Denver public relations concern of Maggie Chamberlin Holben, now offers the online press/media kit product. A sample "5-page online press kit" is found at http://www.online-presskit.com. Currently, Denver's Holben Building Corporation is featured on the example site.
APR offers online press kits from one to 20 pages in length. Customers have their own domain and may select an available name such as "mycompany-presskit.com." Each page has one .jpg or .gif graphic, written material (such as a news release, backgrounder, FAQ, etc.), and related internal and external links.
"An online press kit contains current factual information, specifically targeting the news media during a media relations campaign. It does not replace a company website and is not specifically sales-promotion or e-commerce focused. The online press kit gives editors and reporters the facts and information they need to write news copy," explains Maggie.
During testing of the product this spring, Maggie used the Holben Building Corporation online press kit material to aid in the awareness of the 25th anniversary of the company. Placements resulted in Entrepreneur Magazine, The Denver Post (Street Smarts column and Business Section front with color photo), Denver Business Journal (Spotlight and Briefcase columns), and the Denver Daily Journal.
The online press kit product is priced per page and the turnkey price includes first-draft writing assistance to aid in speed to launch of the kit, as well as scanning and uploading of .jpg or .gif photo subjects. If photography, charts and/or graphs need to be developed from scratch, a separate contract is required. Customers who contract with APR for a one-year, news feature/expert status awareness package, receive a 5-page online press kit as part of the agreement.
"The primary focus is on 'speed to launch' to, in turn, secure customers exposure in the media as rapidly and accurately as possible. When there's something newsworthy to release, I don't like to waste precious time putting a story into words and graphics," Maggie says, "We're designed to rapidly respond to the media's needs."
