Webhost Automation, Ltd. is proud to announce the release of it's flagship product, Helm 3.0. Helm is a multi-server management and control system for Windows 2000 based web hosts. It is the only off-the-shelf hosting automation software to offer true multi-server service distribution based on Windows 2000. The system is designed for any size web hosting companies, datacenters and ISPs, which require a solid platform that automates all of the day-to-day tasks that would otherwise require highly skilled man power, and large work forces.
All web hosts know that the market is continually fluctuating, and, although growth is always a preference, not being able to reconcile servers to save on hardware expenses or to upgrade obsolete technology can be very costly to a business. As well as helping support growth in a simple and efficient way, Helm can support the ability to reconcile servers and reduce, what use to be unavoidable additional expenditures.
Helm has the flexibility to run not just on a single server, but provide management of multiple dedicated and shared servers with a unique service distribution system. This makes it a very powerful product both on the commercial and infrastructure sides of any web hosting business. Helm has proven to be a very flexible control system that allows web hosting providers to integrate the software to fit their business instead of having to fit the business around the system. The multi-server service distribution saves valuable server resources from being under or over-utilized. This is a common problem within the reseller industry where traditional 'control panels' allocate resellers to individual servers.
Mark Hall, Director of Webhost Automation, Ltd., had this to say: "All web hosting providers have to start somewhere, and it is usually on just one or two servers. Being able to grow to hundreds or thousands of servers is very important, and Helm will support this growth every step of the way."
Helm is already being used by several web hosting companies. Interscape Technologies, a company offering hosting on Microsoft's .NET platform, is one of Helm's early adopters. "What attracted me so much to Helm was the ability to grow with my business, and it's built-in support for the .NET Framework," said Robert McLaws, President of Interscape Technologies. "The ability to provide a solid customer experience is also key. Helm allows my customers to feel more in control, and frees up my support personnel for more urgent support issues. I needed a program that was flexible, easy to use, had an attractive interface, and allowed me to tailor it to my business, not make me center my operations around it. Helm delivered."
Helm is available for purchase on the company website, http://www.webhostautomation.com. It costs $1000 for a control server license and $500 per additional remote server. There are also monthly premium plans and a range of support options. A 14 day free trial is also available.
