Author Linda Oatman High Teams With Musician Donna Upson, Releasing Three Independent CDs.

Well-known author Linda Oatman High has teamed with musician Donna Upson to collaborate on songs. With High penning the lyrics, and Upson composing and performing, the duo is expected to make a splash on the songwriting scene.

Linda Oatman High, award-winning author of 14 books for children, has recently collaborated with musician Donna Upson to create a catalog of songs expected to make a splash in Nashville and in the West Coast music industry. Penning songs on such diverse subjects as a New York City firehouse dog, the duo is proving itself to be a dynamic force in the songwriting spectrum. High and Upson are releasing three independent CDs: "Stand Up for the Veteran" - a single song tribute to America's military heroes; "At The Speed" - a 12-song offering of eclectic music, and "Christmases Past" - a two-song holiday CD written to accompany two of High's Christmas books.
The pair will appear at Border's Books & Music in Reading, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 14th at 2:00. High will read from and sign her books, as Upson plays the guitar and sings the recently released songs.
