Rock guitar fans can now pick up J.C. Mathews' instrumental CD "Heidelberg" in high-quality Redbook format at online music distributor Ampcast.com.

Mathews' online collection of melodic rock guitar instrumentals is now hosted by Ampcast at http://www.ampcast.com/jcmathews. Both stream-only tracks and free downloads are available, including songs from an upcoming CD.

"I hope everyone will drop in to hear 'Heidelberg' and some of my new tracks at Ampcast," Mathews said. "I tried to give them a broad appeal without diluting them. But then, my playing style has been shaped by so many diverse influences; I don't think I could fit into a niche even if I tried.

"Rock, metal, jazz, fusion, blues, progressive, goth -- I think you'll find some of it all on 'Heidelberg.'"
