The President and Founder of Alzheimers Corporation, Dr. William K. Summers, is a pioneer of Alzheimers disease research. In 1986, research that he published led to the granting of a U.S. Patent, and the eventual FDA approval of Tacrine (Cognex ) as the first drug deemed safe and effective for the treatment of Alzheimers disease. Dr. Summers has continued his research, and currently holds 11 patents (with one pending) for his innovative work in the evaluation and treatment of the disease. This website is a reflection of both this research, and Dr. Summers continued dedication to the diagnosis and care of the memory-impaired elderly through proper and rapid diagnosis, aggressive treatment with currently available drugs and neuroceuticals, while providing substantial savings to patients and families who are facing long-term care costs.

Founded in 1999, Alzheimers Corporation is dedicated to the diagnosis and care of the memory-impaired elderly within the community. The mission of Alzheimers Corporation is to improve quality of life for both patient and caregiver through proper and rapid diagnosis, aggressive treatment with currently available drugs and neuroceuticals, while providing substantial savings to patients and families who are facing long-term care costs. Currently, Dr. Summers focus has been directed toward raising the capital necessary for production of the second neuroceutical.
