Inova Health System Purchases Surgery Suite Management Solutions From Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc.
Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (USA), a leading healthcare information technology (HIT) vendor, has received a multi-year award from the Inova Health System for the periOperative Resource Management System (ORMS) family of solutions. The solutions will be implemented across Inovas Integrated Delivery Network and be totally integrated with USAs Resource management System (RMS) for patient access management and enterprise scheduling.

(USA), a leading healthcare information technology (HIT) vendor, has received a multi-year award from the Inova Health System for the periOperative Resource Management System (ORMS) family of solutions. The solutions will be implemented across Inovas Integrated Delivery Network and be totally integrated with USAs Resource management System (RMS) for patient access management and enterprise scheduling.
USA, a relatively new player in the surgery suite management niche of the HIT market, has already developed an extensive following of prestigious organizations such as Inova Health System. KLAS, an independent consulting firm who rates products and HIT vendors, ranks USAs ORMS significantly above the other vendors in this market.

ORMS is an integrated family of solutions including OR scheduling, preference cards, peri-operative charting, patient surgical history and ad hoc reporting. When combined with USAs Resource Management System (RMS), it also includes an E-MPI, patient registration, ancillary scheduling, order and resource utilization reporting. With RMS, ORMS users can schedule conflict free with all ancillary areas, not limited to the OR.
