Fortytwothousandairess seeks company

Author recruits job seekers to join quest for the ultimate "BizNiche." 'A BizNiche is a personalized Business Niche. It's that thing you do because you are you. It's the entrepreneurial idea you discover when you mix courage and creativity; passion and personality; reality and resources. In your own business, or working for someone else, a BizNiche is a unique expression of your talent, your spirit, and your ideas, channeled into opportunities that create success. '"It may be difficult to believe that you can earn a living, working in a position you create (and love)", says Mary Squire, "but I challenge you to prove that it can NOT be done!"

Conditions in today's job market suggest that Mind Your Own BizNiche! is an answer to prayer 'for such a time as this'. '76% of the working class in this country are not attached to the lifework they desire' (Gallup Management Journal, Spring, 2001). With unemployment holding at about 5.9% more than 8.3 million Americans are currently out of work. No doubt, if they had a choice, most would prefer to keep their "job security" in lieu of a layoff, even if it meant staying on a job they didn't enjoy. But "choice" and "workplace security" may have been "pink-slipped" in the aftermath of 9/11, Enron, and similar economic events. As a result, USA Today reports that many Americans have been forced into "wrenching and profound shifts in their work priorities and aspirations."

Squire plans to reach out through her book, website (www.MyBizNiche.com), and motivational seminars to spread the message that "You don't have to choose between financial success and personal fulfillment; between self-employment and self-expression; between employment and enjoyment. Not if you have a "BizNiche." "If your ultimate goals include self-fulfillment, a rich and rewarding lifestyle, and turning your dreams into reality, don't expect 'business' ownership, or a 'job', to satisfy you. What you really need is a BizNiche.

This is not a traditional 'business start-up book. It is a guide to the creative process of self-discovery, personal inventory, and affirmation that will help you lay a foundation for BizNiche success.' The book contains 13 inspirational and informative chapters, which include true stories of BizNiche concepts at work. "Be careful!," she warns, "This may look like a book, but its actually much more than that. Its a powerful tool that may soon ignite the flames of your passions; encouraging you to start brainstorming, believing, and building momentum for your dreams (again?). You were destined to open these pages. Let them open you up as well! They're loaded with questions you must answer from the BizNiche center of your soul. Within your answers are keys to your BizNiche! Take time to think, imagine, and explore. Shorten the distance between your dream and your reality!

I'm not an expert. I'm not a millionairess (yet). I'm a 'fortytwothousandairess on the rise', says Squire. She coined the term to describe how she "created a position that didn't exist before, and earned over $42,000 my first year, working from home as an independent consultant. I had a profitable business," but it wasn't my BizNiche" so I wasnt satisfied. I traded my membership in the '76%-er's Club' for the BizNiche I discovered by 'marrying two of my passions' -- empowering people, and innovation. Now, my mission is to share this information with my peers -- the unemployed; under-employed; welfare-to-work participants; people who want to change careers; college graduates; creative and talented people; people who feel they have nothing to offer; skilled and non-skilled individuals; members of the "76%-er's Club"; and anyone else who dares to pursue their dream!"
