There is nothing like hearing the sound of trickling water coming from a waterfall, fountain, or pond in the middle of the desert. The sight and sound of the water is both relaxing and captivating. A beautiful water garden dominates the landscape and everyone is drawn to it.

A new book, "An Aquatic Oasis: A Simple Guide to Water Gardening in the Desert", by Epstein LaRue has just been released. "An Aquatic Oasis" will make it easy for you to build your own water garden in the desert. This book covers all the aspects of water garden landscape from pond ecology to building featured sculptures and selecting plants and fish for your pond.

LaRue searched the Internet for almost a year for information on water gardening that she could use to create her own desert oasis in her backyard in Arizona. She has now created six beautiful water gardens.

LaRue combined her knowledge from her degree in Natural Science Education along with the data compiled from her Internet research in creating "An Aquatic Oasis". Some of the information in the book can be used for building water gardens not only in the desert but in other areas of the country as well.

Epstein LaRue is the author of the romance novel, "Love At First Type". She is also the author of the non-fiction books "Internet Marketing The Right Way", "How To Achieve Success In The Publishing World" and "How To Improve The Quality Of Your Life".
