Spillmans New Millennium Software Release Keeps Crime Behind Bars

Spillman Technologies announces the release of Millennium 4.0, an NT-based software application for use in the public safety industry. The new version of the Millennium application features a Jail module as well as several technical enhancements.

LOGAN, Utah -- December 9 -- Spillman Technologies announces the release of Millennium 4.0, an NT-based software application for use in the public safety industry. The new version of the Millennium application features a Jail module as well as several technical enhancements.

"Spillman has led the way with a highly functional, proven Jail module for its Unix-based SUMMIT software application," said Richard Spillman, president and CEO. "The new Millennium 4.0 release uniquely positions Spillman as a significant player in both the Unix and NT market segments. We are delivering impressive, capable and powerful choices for our current and future customers."

Jail module features in this release include:

• User Friendly Display. The Jail Status window contains a complete list of all active inmates categorized into three types of statuses - Housed, In Custody, and To Return. Information such as employment history, contact information, attorney information and all other pertinent data related to an inmate can be stored.

• Functional Navigation. Millennium Jail provides fields for entering general and specific information about each inmate. The main fields are always visible at the top of the window for convenience.

• Processing Enhancements. The Jail Intake window makes booking an inmate a quick, smooth process. A calendar allows for easy tracking of sentencing and release dates. Sentence length, time served and release dates are all visible on the top portion of the screen. When an inmate's location changes, whether he or she is released, taken to court, or taken to any other location, the system automatically makes a log of the event. The Obligations feature is used to record bonds, fees, fines, holds, restitutions, property taken, property issued and user-defined obligations.

• Unique Involvements Feature. Millennium Jail links Jail records to Millennium's Records Management System with Spillmans innovative involvements feature. This convenient feature is completely integrated providing users with instant access to various records for reference, accuracy and ease of use.

• Convenient, Preformatted Reports. For maximum efficiency, the Jail module features an extensive reports menu to help agencies compile system information into full, easy-to-read reports.

The Millennium Jail module will be a welcome addition to many facilities across the nation," said Spillman. We are pleased to offer such dependable public safety solutions that add convenience, efficiency and security to hundreds of agencies."
