Open Systems are gradually coming to the fore with such operating systems as Linux and most Java systems adhere to this concept (its a plank of J2EE)."

He went on, Anyone can write a Java program just as anyone can paint a room. However, painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is beyond most of us and being able to write a scalable, reliable J2EE Java application is a rare skill too"

Using IBMs Web development tools, a competent J2EE programmer estimated 6 man-months development time for a moderately complex CRM system. With JayCore, the estimate came down to 10 days for the same system"
