Fundraising Event Helps Keep St. Lukes Hospital Doors Open For Another Year
Annual Holiday Luncheon Aims to Bring $75,000 Through Ticket, Merchandise Sales
San Francisco -- On December 11th, the St. Lukes Hospital will hold its annual holiday luncheon at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Hosting the event is the St. Lukes Junior Auxiliary, a group of fifty active women from the San Francisco Bay Area, who raise funds for the St. Lukes Health Care Center. Over the last 25 years, the Junior Auxiliary has given more than $1.4 million to the hospital. The luncheon will feature dozens of gift, jewelry and apparel vendors selling merchandise to the estimated 750 attendees.
Today, St. Luke's Hospital serves all of San Francisco, but primarily residents from the Mission District, Bernal Heights, Bayview Hunters Point, Excelsior, Ingleside, Glen Park and Noe Valley neighborhoods. Many of St. Luke's Hospital's over 1100 employees grew up in the neighborhood and continue to live in San Francisco.
As St. Lukes Hospital embarks on a third century of care, now is a wonderful opportunity to help support our mission. For more information about donating to St. Lukes, please call (415) 641-6555.
