New Treatment Will Be Good News to 150 Million Worldwide, Including 15 Million Children

Researchers at two well-known universities report they're closing in on a new treatment, possibly even a cure for certain common types of diabetes. Dr. Aaron Vinik, one of the lead researchers stated that, We saw a reversal of diabetes when the compound was administered at an adequate dose and for a sufficient period of time." The research at, Eastern Virginia Medical School and McGill University in Montreal and financially supported by the Gmp Companies and Procter and Gamble Company is working to develop a new treatment for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. If successful, it could eliminate the need for insulin injections forever.

It could be a cure type 1 diabetes, which effects over a million and a half people in the US. It could also affect the lives of over 6 million people in the US who have type 2 diabetes and must inject daily insulin to survive.

Phase 1 trials are completed and Phase 1-2 A trials have already begun. If successful, it will have a dramatic effect on the US and global economy.
