KLCI Research Group Announces its Release of RiskID Pro
This SEI Risk Taxonomy based product will provide a health check" of your software projects
December 9, 2002.
Software projects can leverage strengths and mitigate risks with a new risk assessment tool, RiskID Pro. RiskID Pro is aligned with the SEI-Risk Taxonomy, allowing organizations to benchmark their projects against industry standards and reduce risk -- which industry experience has shown can lead to lower project cost and earlier project completion.
With RiskID Pro, team members participate in project assessment by providing both qualitative and quantitative data about the projects status. RiskID Pro aggregates feedback from project staff using special statistical models, and generates a detailed management report with 16 different charts to illustrate the current health of the project.
Included in the report is a one-page executive summary that provides an at-a-glance view of the project -- schedule status, strengths, and risks. In addition, RiskID Pro provides an overall summary with Red, Yellow, or Green indicators, signifying the projects current health level.
Risks are schedule delays and cost overruns waiting to happen," says Peter Kulik, Managing Partner of KLCI Research Group. Complimentary trial assessments are available; for more information and to set up your complimentary assessment, visit: http://www.klci.com/RiskID.html.
