Broadband delivery services company, Dantech, announces the availability of broadband aimed specifically at the business community. The service will offer high data rates in both directions (up-load and down-load) using broadband wireless radio technology. The roll-out starts in ESSEX.

Broadband delivery services company, Dantech, announces the availability of broadband aimed specifically at the business community.

The service will offer high data rates in both directions (up-load and down-load) using broadband wireless radio technology. The grade of service is intended for professional use by SMEs and large companies. Where the incumbent telecom operator would put 300 subscribers traffic through a 16 channel pipe Dantech would put this same traffic through a 32 channel pipe always giving you an enhanced service.

Steve Smith, Commercial Director of Dantech Broadband, said, We decided, from the outset, that we will provide professional service, targeted at the business user. High reliability, top-level technical support and 'always-on Internet service are the basis on which we have built our business model. Our aim is to allow businesses in areas not covered by ADSL to reap the benefits of e-commerce that broadband provides."

Dantech intends to start the rollout in February-March 2003 subject to 60 businesses registering a firm interest. The Company is also looking for distributors such as WAN/LAN installers or IT distributors in East-Anglia.
