FMG Teams Up with McKesson Health Solutions to Provide FMG's Mobile Software Solution, Stella, to McKesson's Health Insurance Carriers Nationwide.

Together, the two companies will offer FMGs Stella handheld software product to McKessons 70 managed care organizations nationwide to perform NCQA mandated HEDIS® audits.

HEDIS, or the Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set, is a set of standardized performance measures sponsored by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). NCQA is a non-profit organization that measures and reports the quality of healthcare provided by managed care organizations nationwide. NCQA is the premier healthcare accreditation body and to obtain NCQA accreditation, health plans must annually collect and report HEDIS audits.
HEDIS audits are typically a very labor and time intensive process, plagued by errors due to the excessive paper trail and manual processes involved.

Stella is a feature-rich handheld application device that enables any type of data collection by a distributed workforce to be streamlined into an easily accessible, electronic and mobile format.
