New DSP Circuit Speeds Laser Galvanometers
December 12, 2002 (Londonderry, NH)-- NanoVia, LP announces DSPLogixTM, an innovative Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Circuit that allows users to modify, convert or optimize signals used in motion control hardware.
DSPLogixTM employs a patent-pending DSP circuit board that allows engineers and system integrators to incorporate custom-tailored control signals, optimizing motion control systems such as galvanometers and CNC tables. DSPLogixTM technology can take square wave or sinusoidal signals generated by common motion control cards and converts those signals into triangular wave, s-curve, trapezoidal or even customized signals. The circuit board comes with software for program development and downloading into the DSP chipset. Custom DSP circuit boards are available for those who require addition functions or I/O input and outputs.
NanoVia utilizes its DSPLogixTM hardware in its own products as well as in custom products developed to improve the scanning speed of X,Y galvanometers in laser processing, metrology and medical imaging.
NanoVia, LP develops, designs and builds automated manufacturing equipment, custom circuits and control systems, optical systems and assembly/fabrication processes for the microelectronics packaging, telecom and micro-systems market. NanoVias core objective is to create intellectual property for licensing and sale to these markets. NanoVia welcomes inquiries about its technologies, system solutions and opportunities to work with industry leaders.
