The Glimpse Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit membership organization, has been awarded a $15,000 Challenge Grant!

Awarded by The Chace Fund, Inc., the challenge grant was intended to encourage a "giving culture" within the growing Glimpse community and help ensure the continued achievement of The Glimpse Foundation.

Since receiving 501(c)3 status from the IRS seven months ago, Glimpse has built a dependable network of over 800 colleges and universities across the country, which provide direct access to over 150,000 students living and working abroad.

Having attracted the interest of major corporations such as National Geographic, the BBC, the AP, PBS, STA Travel, AmeriSpan, Hasbro, COMTEX News Network, Attaché Magazine, and the Providence Journal, Glimpse is quickly developing mutually beneficial partnerships within the industries that can most effectively guarantee its long-term achievement.

With the initiation of charter membership and subscription options, Glimpse has received requests from educational institutions such as Brown University, Columbia University and La Salle Academy, among others. With time, Glimpse aims to secure the membership participation of not only colleges and universities across the country, but also our countrys high schools and libraries.

As proven by the continuing increases in website traffic (traffic has grown by 710% over the past nine months), Glimpse programs are increasingly in demand. We are working hard to satisfy this demand with a second issue of GLIMPSE MAGAZINE, an overhaul of the http://www.theglimpse.com/newsite/frontpage2.asp">THEGLIMPSE.COM, and the launching of charter memberships and subscriptions. This is aided by a remarkable increase in submissions.

The promise of sustained achievement is around the corner, but we will be unable deliver without the gap funding required to produce the desired programs, the revenue from which will offset the need for charitable giving.

It is only by building partnerships with individuals around the country (and world) that Glimpse can foster progressive and intimate global understanding that deepens our regard for the peoples and cultures of the world. Joining The Chace Fund in its support is one way to empower Glimpse to work with its growing international membership network to innovate platforms for creative nonfiction, informed discourse and intercultural exchange.
