Two theatre professionals join forces as wedding planners giving their weddings theatrical expertise

Christopher Steele and Stephanie Coltrin-Meyer both have successful careers in the entertainment industry. Stephanie is a professional theatrical stage manager and producer; Christopher, a theatrical producer and screenwriter. Their long experience in producing and managing plays and musicals gives their events a subtle flair. Their knowledge gives every detail the weight it deserves. Coltrin-Meyer and Steele met while producing 12 plays in four weeks at Noah Wyles Blank Theatre Company in Hollywood. This type of producing requires complete dedication and attention. A wedding is so similar to producing a play," says Coltrin-Meyer. We have lengthy consultations with the couple right at the beginning of the planning process to determine their vision for the wedding. Then we help them create a budget, prioritize their expenses, give them options in different price ranges for how to achieve their vision. Then we hire the design team- the caterers, florists, stationers, lighting designers, musicians who will implement the couples vision. Throughout the process, we provide production meetings, budget updates, schedules, and obtain the clients approval of design ideas. We create detailed schedules for bridal party members and vendors, we help the couple choose the music, and when we get to the rehearsal, we direct the action. Finally, on the wedding day, we supervise the execution of every element. This is the most important day of our clients lives, and it deserves the same detailed attention that we provide every time we put up a production for an audience. When you are producing a play, you must always be mindful of the playwrights intentions, and the directors vision. Steele and Coltrin-Meyer are both hail from New York, growing up in the world's cosmopolitan heart. Mr. Steele says of that experience, "My mom used to make me go to Tea Dances at the Princeton Club when I was a pre-teen. Though I hated it at the time, I'm am grateful, now, that I learned how to behave in elevated social situations. I was also a dancer, at the time, with the American Ballet Theatre and Metropolitan Opera and just loved the spectacle of the Gala. Those people sure know how to throw a party.
