Sterling Management Resources adds Internal Audit Outsourcing Division

     (December 18, 2002)-Sterling Management Resources, a Tampa based consulting business has appointed Joanna L. Causey, CPA as senior associate of the firms Internal Audit Division according to Steve Tutwiler, President and Chief Executive Officer.

     The appointment marks the firms expansion into the internal audit sector of accounting and finance consulting services. Other services supplied by Sterling include contract chief financial officer services and financial executive search and placement.
    
     Sterlings approach is unique in the market in that it provides both permanent placements of financial executives as well temporary consulting by CFO and controller-level resources. No other firm in the Tampa Bay market provides this dual approach.

     Previously, Causey has served as an independent consultant providing audit related services including internal controls and internal audit reviews. She has also served as senior internal auditor for Tampas Ernst & Young office. Causey began her career as a staff accountant at Draffin & Tucker, Albany, GA.

     Causey is a graduate of Auburn University and holds a degree in Accounting. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
