Size Does Matter, as BigDigit Presents 'First Annual Worlds Smallest Film Festival

BigDigit (www.bigdigit.com),a new media production and perception company in Los Angeles, will produce the 'The BigDigit First Annual Worlds Smallest Film Festival (WSFF), an event designed to spotlight digital films created for presentation on an emerging generation of multimedia-enabled mobile telephones. The WSFF will showcase the most interesting and exciting digital media produced for small-format mobile phones and communications-enabled mobile devices. The event will be hosted by the CTIA in New Orleans, LA, during its annual conference and exhibition, which is expected to attract more than 40,000 attendees worldwide and 800 members of the press.

In March 2003, BigDigit (www.bigdigit.com), will produce The First Annual BigDigit 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival to showcase the most interesting and exciting digital films produced for small-format mobile phones and communications-enabled mobile devices. The event will be hosted by the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) in New Orleans, LA, during its annual conference and exhibition March 17-19, 2003. This is the largest wireless industry conference in America and is expected to attract more than 40,000 attendees worldwide and 800 members of the press.

Among the highlights of The BigDigit First Annual 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival will be an awards presentation that recognizes the best and the most innovative creations across several different categories. These categories include: Drama, Comedy, Music, Episodic, Instructional, Animation, and Corporate.

A panel of judges will rate submissions on a variety of levels, including creativity, entertainment value, 'real world utility and optimum use of currently-available technology. Attendees at the CTIA conference and exhibition will also have an opportunity to screen and vote on entries as part of the First Annual BigDigit-CTIA 'best of show awards category, through a special portal and software developed and enhanced just for The BigDigit First Annual 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival.

Just prior to the awards ceremony, BigDigit will lead a series of discussions and presentations focused on new trends and developments in new media presentations and mobile multimedia systems. Taking part in the discussions will be representatives from some of the top hardware, software and content companies in the industry. Many of these companies will be showing the latest in mobile technology and will be prepared to demonstrate how these new systems and services will usher in a brave new world of mobile entertainment and portable multimedia.

The BigDigit First Annual 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival promises to be one of the key events at the CTIA conference, and another important milestone that will raise the curtain on the emerging world of mobile entertainment and visual nomadic creativity.
