NV3 Software Combines Laser, Motion & Vision Control

December 16, 2002 (Londonderry, NH)-- NanoVia, LP announces the release of NV3TM motion control software, which integrates laser, motion and vision software to form a complete automation solution to laser equipment integrators. Seamless integration of these three sub-systems is made simpler by using a field-proven platform and customizing it to a specific application. NV3TM incorporates those properties common in most Excimer, UV DPSS YAG and CO2 laser systems.

NV3TM provides numerous tools, such as vision viewing of target materials being processed (micro and macro views), laser beam monitoring (profilometer view), mask or aperture viewing (alignment, quality), X,Y,Z motion (jog screens for all stages), laser manual control (pulsing, parameter setup), vision (alignment routines, inspection, manual calipers for insitu measurements) and advanced laser routines (auto focus routines, mask scanning, interpolated laser firing, contouring, 3D machining, step and repeat, step and scan, manual focus routines, direct write CAD/CAM). The software is compatible with Delta Tau Controllers and Parker Controllers, however the vision system is Matrox MIL based.

NV3TM allows technologists to focus on their core technologies and purchase advanced features off the shelf. NanoVia provides customization of its software and OEM packaging.
