Father and Daughters Invent Wearable Fragrance Diffuser

Yoji, Motoko, and Sachiko Tsutsumi, a Honolulu father-and-daughters trio, have invented and produced a revolutionary fragrance fashion accessory that has been available in the U.S. since Thanksgiving Day.

December 18, Honolulu, Hawaii -- Yoji and Sachiko Tsutsumi, a Honolulu father-and-daughter team, have invented and produced a revolutionary fragrance fashion accessory that has been available in the U.S. since Thanksgiving Day.

MiMi Blossoms, a made-in-Japan fragrance diffuser, was born from an idea by the two Tsutsumi sisters, Motoko and Sachiko. Their father, Yoji, put in countless hours of thought and research and finally had the prototype made in Japan for higher quality. MiMi Blossoms, patent pending in nine countries, can be used as earring backings or worn on clothing, handbags, neckties, etc. The product is made of high-quality plastic with a special absorbent inside, and can be used for aromatherapy and avoidance of skin allergies caused by perfume. We are very excited about MiMi Blossoms," said Yoji Tsutsumi. My daughters idea has materialized into a product thats both aesthetic and functional. It can be decorated to suit individual tastes, and it solves the growing problem of skin allergy to fragrances. The launch of MiMi Blossoms is timely because aromatherapy has become very popular and while MiMi Blossoms are portable, users cannot carry conventional fragrance diffusers with them".

MiMi Blossoms come in six colors and are packaged as deluxe kits, starter kits, and pairs. In addition to a variety of decorative stickers, each kit includes a dropper and a mini-cup that are used to fill the MiMi Blossoms with perfume or aroma oil. The MiMi Blossoms are packed in stackable clear plastic cases that are easy to carry, and the product complements perfumes and aroma oils. Retail prices start from $8.95 for a pair of MiMi Blossoms.

MiMi Blossoms made its first public appearance on November 16 at the Hawaii Foundation for Chinese Culture and Arts fundraising luncheon. Two gift baskets containing the product were donated to the foundations silent auction.

MiMi Blossoms are distributed in the U.S. exclusively by Ti&Ti Sales and are currently available on Oahu, Hawaii at Shirokiya, Toys 'n Joys, Neo Plaza, Kiteboarding96815, and online at www.mimicute.com.

Ti&Ti Sales is continually seeking new U.S. retailers to make MiMi Blossoms easily available to consumers both in-store and online. MiMi Blossoms will be showcased at the California Gift Show (booth #2455) in Los Angeles on January 18-21, 2003.
