A Smile Is Worth A Million

Visiting a friend in the hospital is an emotional experience.

In keeping with the holiday spirit,Rachel Miller & Fili Martinez from Shear Paradise Salon, went to visit a friend in Spring Branch Hospital. Knowing that the friend was probably in bad shape we decided to go in costume, Fili as carbon image of Jimi Hendrix, & Rachel as an overdone 50's manicurist in purple beehive, rhinestone cat eye glasses, & sparkely 80's sweater & pink boa. We knew it would be hard to see Rose in the hospital, so we decided to make her laugh. She loved it, when asked if ther was anything else that she needed, she replied, "you just gave it to me, that made my day".
So, the staff @ Shear Paradise has decided to do this on a regular basis to cheer others up that need it. We thought we would share this with you!
