The site is expecting thousands of new members registering in time for the
promotion as it abandons its traditional subscription model for 24 hours
starting at Midnight 13 February 2003. During the one day period all members
will be able to send and receive messages without paying a single penny.
Members usually join datingagency.com as a free guest member and have to
upgrade their account to Club Membership, a chargeable service, when they
wish to initiate contact with others. Their recently launched, Love
Guarantee, option means that members can pay just 50 for lifetime
membership.
Formed in May 2001, datingagency.com has rapidly established itself as one
of the UK's leading online dating sites. In August 2002 it purchased rival
site, DatingUK.net which gives them a total subscriber base approaching
150,000 members.
datingagency.com is the brainchild of ex. ITN television cameraman Richard
Conway and business partner Daniel Smith who has been developing internet
web sites for a number of years.
