TI AUTOMOTIVE GETS THREE U.S. MILITARY AWARDS

   WARREN, Mich. -- TI Automotive has been recognized for exceptional support of the U.S. military on both a local and national level with three separate awards.

   The company and two of its employees were awarded the Patriot Award by the State of Michigan for exemplary consideration and treatment" of its military reserve personnel. The award was presented by Brigadier General Thomas G. Cutler, 127th Wing Commander of the Michigan Air National Guard, in a recent ceremony at the companys Warren headquarters.

   David J. Spehar, program manager at TI Automotives Chesterfield, Mich. facility, received the 2002 George W. Bush Award for outstanding achievement at a ceremony during the National Guard Association of the United States annual conference in Long Beach, California. Spehar, who is a major in the Michigan Air National Guard, recently has been activated for duty.

   In addition, TI Automotive was awarded the State Chairmans Award" from the Michigan Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, for which it was nominated by Major Spehar.

    Kolpasky, who himself is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, added that TI Automotive is extremely proud of employees who serve their country in such an important way, especially in these uncertain times.
