SHOWTIME AND DISCOVERY CHANNEL FEATURE THREE SONGS BY WISCONSIN BAND

Milwaukee-based band, EXIT, has licensed three tracks for use in film and television productions. All of which will air on December 23.

Milwaukee, WI...Milwaukee pop-rockers EXIT will have three tracks from their 1999 debut CD, Two Words," featured on cable television programs in December.

The movie Big Brother Trouble" airing again on December 23 on Showtime (east) at 3:45 p.m. CST and featuring the bands upbeat and pop-driven tracks You Drive Me Wild" and The Sidewalk," has been in regular rotation since April of this year.

In October 2000, EXIT was invited to the Marco Island Film Festival in support of the popular Dick Van Patten and Mario Lopez (formerly of Saved by the Bell") movie.

"The film festival was a great experience," said Ryan McIntyre, lead singer of EXIT. We played shows to a completely new audience, rubbed elbows with a few celebrities, and met a lot of fantastic people."

Also on December 23, the action-adventure show Outward Bound," featuring the bands hard charging song Sixty Miles," will debut on Discovery Channel (KIDS) at 7:30 p.m. CST. Sixty Miles" will be played in its entirety during the show.

In addition, EXIT has had two songs selected as Track of the Day" at www.garageband.com. Earlier this month, they were voted best band at www.cornerband.com.

The experience of having our songs placed in films and television, in addition to the positive responses from fans through our online marketing initiatives, has given the band further motivation to continue improving as a group while making quality music," said McIntyre.

EXIT is a two-time WAMI winner. In 2002 they were chosen as the Peoples Choice" for favorite band in Wisconsin. In 2000, they were awarded Best New Band" honors.

EXIT has played 70 shows this year where they have fine-tuned new material. They are currently in the studio recording their sophomore effort scheduled for release early next year.
