Singer/songwriter, Tony Adamo broke down the music barriers on the worldwide web in 2002. Adamo has taken full advantage of the Internet for promotional and distribution purposes. Adamos music has consistently gone #1 five different times on five different Internet smooth jazz charts over the last six months. Rhombus Records has signed Adamo to a distribution deal based on the strength of his music on the worldwide net. As of today, December 22, 2002, after two months, the song Passport" from Adamos new CD release, DANCE OF LOVE, is still #1 on Soundclick.coms smooth jazz charts and # 2 on their straight ahead jazz charts. Ecstasy," another song Tony co-wrote with his producer Jerry Stucker, was also #1 on Soundclick.coms smooth jazz chart. Ecstasy" like Passport" consistently topped artists such as Lee Ritenour, Patti LaBelle, Joyce Cooling, Eric Merienthal and Bobby Matos.
Adamos music caught the listening ear of John Beaudin of Smoothjazzcanada.com, Canadas most respected smooth jazz site. Mr. Beaudin is also the drive time announcer at 103.1 the Breeze in Calgary, Canada.
