LEEZA GIBBONS TO BE KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT THE 2003 SHARING WISDOM CONFERENCE IN FLORIDA, APRIL 25TH

Register for important conference for all family and professional caregivers - those caring for elderly parents, ill or disabled spouses or children, as well as the professional care providers are invited to attend Florida conference.

HOLLYWOOD, FL -- FEBRUARY 2003 - Todays Caregiver, the first national magazine for all family and professional caregivers will be hosting the 2003 Sharing Wisdom Conference, Friday, April 25th from 8:30am -5:00pm at the Signature Grand Conference Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This year, the Sharing Wisdom Conference is honored to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be Ms. Leeza Gibbons. Known nationally for her success as a television host and entertainment reporter, Ms. Gibbons also knows a thing or two about caregiving. Like so many other American families, Leezas family has been dealing with Alzheimers disease. After the death of Leezas grandmother from the disease, her mother, Jean Gibbons, was also diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers disease. Jean made Leeza promise to tell the world about Alzheimers disease. As difficult as it has been, Leezas family has and continues to honor Jeans wish. The Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation with its Memory Centers & Family Workshops is the manifestation of their vision for a better standard of care that incorporates the best from holistic and traditional medicine, a shame-free culture for patients and caregivers, and a realistic and coordinated national strategy to finding a cure. The Sharing Wisdom Conference enables caregivers from all over the country to gather together and receive much needed information, so its a wonderful opportunity for Ms. Gibbons to share her wisdom and experience with so many caregivers going through the same thing.

Caregivers from around the nation attend the Sharing Wisdom Conference to receive respite, along with recognition for their role as a family or professional caregiver. This event was founded upon the concept that the best people for caregivers to share wisdom about the responsibilities of caregiving, are those on the frontlines themselves, devoting time to caring for their loved ones and clients. The conference will feature speakers, seminars and workshops to benefit both family members and professional caregivers.

"Since publishing the first issue of the magazine in 1995, weve dedicated ourselves to helping make the lives of family and professional caregivers easier," says conference Founder and Todays Caregiver magazine editor-in-chief, Gary Barg, "and thats one reason why weve created the Sharing Wisdom Conference... so people who are caregivers for those living with different diseases and illnesses can come together in one place... there's more power, more strength and more wisdom in that room than people could ever imagine."

Professionals in the areas of clinical social work, marriage and family counseling, and nursing will receive six CEUs for attending
the conference.

General admission price for pre-registration is $45. Tickets the day of the conference will be $55. Registration for professionals is $75. Breakfast, lunch and breaks are included in the price of registration. Please call Hilary Gibson at (954) 893-0550 for pre-registration and further information, or register online at www.caregiver.com.
