Second Version of Web Menu Builder Hits The Ground Running

Visionary Technologies (http://www.v-tech.ws) has released the second generation of its dynamic site navigation generator. Web Menu Builder 2.0, which offers all of the favorite features of its predecessor, includes numerous bug fixes, additional options, and more.

JACKSON, PA (PRWEB) February 20, 2002 -- Following the overwhelming success of the Web Menu Builder, Visionary Technologies (http://www.v-tech.ws) has released the second generation of its dynamic site navigation generator. Web Menu Builder 2.0, which offers all of the favorite features of its predecessor, includes numerous bug fixes, additional options, and more.

"It is a completely new [application] based on our experience in the area," says Demez Christophe, President & CEO of V-Tech. "It's quicker and has an improved GUI. We've also added the ability to integrate Macromedia Flash animation, 3D items, JavaScript commands, and cool menu effects."

Other effects that Web Menu Builder 2.0 generates automatically are glow, transparency (defined levels), border size and style, the speed of the submenu pop-ups (or pop-outs), and more. The menu may be placed anywhere on the page, with defined mouse-activated (OnMouseOver and click) events. And, of course, it includes a preview window to check work without saving the files.

Tests have determined that the code that Web Menu Builder 2.0 generates is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape versions 4 and higher, Opera, and Mozilla.

Web Menu Builder 2.0 operates the same way its prior version had, including a user-friendly, point-and-click, WYSIWYG environment. It instantly generates a hybrid of DHTML, and JavaScript. This code contains several display options, such as "Roll-Out" Menus (which are similar to the Start Button, Apple Menu, or the footprint). Best of all, because it does not generate application code such as ASP, PHP, or CGI, there is no need to have any server software installed. By design, Web Menu Builder 2.0 will create menus that work just as well on GeoCities as they do on a commercial webhost. With a small file size (about 3.26 megabytes, compressed), the utility is still built for the end-user, regardless of skill level.

And with its $49.00 US per-license fee, V-Tech says they hope to reach a broader range of consumers than their more-expensive competitors.
